Job summary

Neptune Township School District is hiring Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year. Positions are 10-month contracts with salary ranges set by the Board of Education.

Candidates must have an Associate Degree or have passed the ParaPro Assessment, with strong communication and IT skills to support instructional activities. Experience with students with special needs is preferred; applicants must pass background checks and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Job Title: PARAPROFESSIONALS

Reports To: BuildingPrincipal/ Supervisor, or other administrator if needed

Salary Range: Candidates will be placed on guide according to qualifying experience ($28,229-$32,854)

Position Summary: The above Paraprofessionals contractual positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: See attached Job Description

Technology Skills: Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Frontline Applications, and Student Information System.

Evaluation of Performance: Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy.

Terms of Employment: 10 Month Contract. Salary and benefits as determined by the Board of Education and any applicable and collective negotiations agreement. See above for specific salary information.
