Job summary

The YMCA of The Pikes Peak Region in Monument, CO is seeking a part-time Custodian to ensure clean, welcoming spaces for members, visitors and staff. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe surfaces, restock supplies, and assist with events and general facility maintenance.

Job Location: Monument, CO 80132. Position Type: Part Time. Salary Range: $15.16 - $15.16 Hourly. Job Shift: Day.

POSITION SUMMARY

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Custodian will ensure that all areas of the facilities and grounds are clean and ready for members, visitors and staff to use. The Custodian will sweep, mop and vacuum floors. You will clean walls, ceilings, windows and other surfaces and restock items, such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies. You may also need to maintain supply inventory, submit purchase requests, and assist with preparations for events, such as meetings and training. As a custodian you are to respond to member and staff service needs quickly and efficiently. To be a successful Custodian, you should be observant, respectful, motivated, and committed to providing members, visitors, and staff with a clean, orderly place to congregate. To work well in this role you should have basic experience cleaning.
