Job summary

Malace HR is seeking General Cleaners/Trash Technicians for a logistics facility in Ypsilanti, MI, starting ASAP. The role pays $16.00/hour and requires composite or steel-toe shoes. Shifts include Sun-Wed 6p-4:30a and Wed-Sat 6p-4:30a.

You will clean warehouses, offices, restrooms, and common areas, and operate cleaning equipment while following safety procedures. Responsibilities include trash removal, waste transport, and maintaining cleanliness across docks, break rooms, and production

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain warehouse, production, office, break room, restroom, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, toilets, fixtures, and high-touch areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated collection areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and other janitorial equipment.
• Refill restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Follow facility rules and subcontractor policies and procedures.
• Work safely around forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyors, carts, and other warehouse equipment.
• May operate tugger machine or other powered equipment if trained and authorized.
• Collect and remove trash and recycling from designated areas throughout the facility.
• Replace trash liners and clean waste receptacles as needed.
• Transport waste to designated disposal and recycling areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of docks, break rooms, restrooms, offices, and production areas.
• Respond promptly to spill cleanup and other housekeeping needs.

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain warehouse, production, office, break room, restroom, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, toilets, fixtures, and high-touch areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and transport waste to designated collection areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, and other janitorial equipment.
