Job summary

Malace|HR is seeking Custodians/Material Movers for a logistics facility in Plainfield, IN. The role involves extensive walking, cleaning, trash disposal, and coordinating with other trades in a fast-paced environment.

You will lift up to 50 lbs+, follow safety procedures around hazardous materials, and handle cardboard removal, pallet movement, and light forklift tasks as needed. Evening or day shifts may apply; reliable physical stamina is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred.
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite, haul trash to dumpsters.
• Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project.
• Able to distinguish between trash/scrap and stored materials.
• Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go.
• Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas: Yard area, guard shack, smoke area, etc.

Seeking Custodians/Material Movers for logistics facility in Plainfield, IN. This is a janitorial/corrugate position that will require MILES of walking a day.

Overview:

• $15.50/hour
• composite shoes/boots required

Shifts:

Essential Janitorial Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite, haul trash to dumpsters
• Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project
• Able to distinguish between trash/scrap and stored materials
• Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go
• Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment

While janitorial is a good part of the services we offer, we also handle various other tasks. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Removing and Bailing Cardboard
• Moving and stacking Pallets
• Fork truck operation
• Need to be open to ALL tasks
