Description

The Custodian Technician role within Real Estate Operations is responsible for routine office cleaning and light carpentry repairs, with cleaning being a major focus of this role.

In this role, you will respond to colleague and business-requested work orders and follow a routine schedule of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, stocking, and supplying designated facility areas regularly (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, trash removal, etc.)
• Inspecting bank facilities routinely while cleaning and repairing items as required
• Responding to emergency and non-emergency service requests and prioritizing work order responses
• Referring to vendors if necessary via work order system
• Closing out work orders upon completion using iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Completing work orders accurately with minimal callbacks
• Providing minor office relocations of furniture and contents
• Communicating professionally and pleasantly with internal and external customers
• Maintaining inventory of supplies, tools, and materials, and purchasing supplies at the best available prices
• Executing periodic deep cleaning tasks and special projects when required

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial and light carpentry roles
• Proven customer service skills and/or experience
• Proficient in MS Office applications including Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to travel as needed
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and accurately
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload effectively

Education, Certifications, and Other Credentials

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License

Hours and Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week; overtime available
• Monday – Friday, 5:30 am – 2:00 pm
