Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Custodian Technician to keep our retail branches clean and professional. This hands-on role emphasizes independent routine cleaning while supporting a team-oriented environment.

You will work 40 hours weekly, with a schedule Monday–Friday 5:30am–2:00pm, and receive a comprehensive benefits package along with a company vehicle, gas card, and provided iPhone/iPad, uniform, shoes, and seasonal gear.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience preferred
• Demonstrate customer service skills & service oriented mindset
• Competent use of iPad & iPhone
• Ability to plan and prioritize workload and ability to work independently
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more

Responsibilities

• Clean, stock, and maintain assigned areas: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restrooms, trash, vents
• Respond to service requests and close out work orders with minimal callbacks
• Communicate in a pleasant and professional manner with internal and external customers
• Wear a company‑provided uniform and maintain a professional appearance while on duty
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Vehicle maintenance as required

Job description

The Custodian Technician plays a key role in maintaining clean and professional office environments across our retail branches. This is a hands‑on, service‑oriented position focused primarily on independent routine cleanings while supporting a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, stock, and maintain assigned facility areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and cleaning ceiling vents
• Respond to service requests and prioritizing work order response & closing out work orders upon completion with minimal call backs
• Communicate in a pleasant and professional manner with internal and external customers
• Wear a company‑provided uniform and maintain a professional appearance while on duty
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
• Vehicle maintenance as required

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials

Pay Transparency

The salary range for this position is $22-24 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
