Description

The Custodian Technician role within Real Estate Operations is responsible for routine office cleaning and light carpentry repairs, with cleaning being a major focus.

In this role, you will respond to colleague and business work orders and follow a routine schedule of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, stocking, and supplying designated facility areas regularly (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, trash removal, etc.)
• Inspecting bank facilities and repairing items as needed
• Responding to emergency and non-emergency service requests, prioritizing work orders
• Referring to vendors via work order system when necessary
• Closing out work orders upon completion using iPad or Computerized Maintenance Management System
• Completing work orders accurately with minimal callbacks
• Providing minor office relocations of furniture and contents
• Communicating professionally with internal and external customers
• Maintaining inventory of supplies, tools, and materials, purchasing supplies at the best price
• Executing periodic deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial and light carpentry roles
• Proven customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word)
• Ability to travel as required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and prioritize tasks

Education & Certifications

• High School Degree or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License

Hours & Schedule

• 40 hours/week, overtime available
• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
