Job summary

GRBS Inc. is hiring a 2nd shift custodian supervisor for Byron Center West Middle School. The role runs Monday through Friday with one weekend per month, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour, with opportunities to lead a team and ensure high cleaning standards across the school facilities. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic, offering benefits and growth within GRBS.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with valid identification.
• Must be able to work second shift at a school facility.
• Reliable transportation to and from work required.

Responsibilities

• Execute the clean building process using GRBS tools.
• Lead, manage, and hold team members accountable.
• Perform nightly perimeter door checks.
• Complete building walkdowns and safety checks.
• Daily cleaning tasks: vacuuming, mopping, restrooms, trash.
• Maintain professional conduct with integrity and humility.

When and Where is the job located:

We have the following full-time 2nd shift custodian Supervisor opportunity available at Byron Center West Middle School:

• Monday-Friday
• 1 scheduled weekend per month
• 3pm-11:30pm
• 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

Core Responsibilities:

• Execute the clean building process
• Finish the job with GRBS tools
• Complete 360 communication
• Lead, manage, serve, and hold team members accountable
• Lead with integrity and humility
• Complete Building Walkdowns
• Nightly perimeter door checks

What does this job look like:

We serve our public school customers by completing the following tasks:

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Dusting
• Cleaning restrooms
• Removing trash
• As well as other cleaning task as assigned
