We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented SUBSTITUTE Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote a clean and environmentally friendly workspace.
• Assist with residential painting and minor facilities maintenance tasks as needed.
• Carry out industrial cleaning procedures in designated areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Respond to custodial requests from staff or management promptly and professionally.
• Monitor supplies and equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or inventory shortages.
• Maintain outdoor areas by performing light landscaping duties or cleaning walkways as required.
