Job summary

Meow Wolf Denver is seeking a part-time, seasonal Custodian/Housekeeping team member to keep exhibition spaces, offices, and facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff.

The role requires 1–2 years of housekeeping experience, strong attention to detail, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will help maintain a world-class immersive experience and support event setup as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
• Excellent communication and reliability.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties across exhibition, retail, office, and public areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as assigned to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and restock restrooms and break areas.
• Collect, separate, and dispose of trash and recycling.
• Inspect and report maintenance or safety concerns to Facilities or Operations team.
• Support setup and breakdown of events and special activities as needed.
• Maintain custodial equipment, supplies, and storage areas in safe and organized condition.
• Follow established schedules and cleaning procedures consistently.
• Comply with all health, safety, and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet cleanliness standards.

Job Description

Compensation: Compensation for this role is $19.75/hour. Deadline: The deadline for submitting applications for this position is October, 2 2026. Meow Wolf reserves the right to extend this deadline if needed. This position is part-time, seasonal with an effective start date on or after 10/5/2026, with the position ending no later than 90 days after start date. We are looking for those who have flexible schedules including evening, weekend, and holiday availability. Candidates must be 18 or older to apply. The Custodian / Housekeeping team member ensures Meow Wolf Denver remains clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and employees. This position supports daily operations by maintaining cleanliness throughout the exhibition, offices, restrooms, and back-of-house areas. The role helps preserve Meow Wolf’s creative environment through reliability, attention to detail, and pride in maintaining a world-class immersive experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position operates throughout Meow Wolf Denver’s exhibition spaces, offices, and facilities. Work may involve interaction with guests and artists in high-traffic environments. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Repetitive motion with cleaning tools and equipment. Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with provided PPE). Work Environment: This position operates in Meow Wolf exhibition spaces, involving exposure to variable lighting, sound, and guest interaction. The role requires frequent collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Physical Demands: Employees may be required to sit or stand for extended periods, operate standard equipment, and occasionally lift or move items up to 50 pounds. The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
