Job summary

SBM is hiring a Custodian in Puerto Rico to perform janitorial duties and ensure cleanliness across assigned areas. You will operate cleaning equipment, handle hazardous waste tasks when needed, and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

Strong communication and the ability to work with a team are essential. Qualifications include 3–6 months experience or training, a valid driver's license if required, and basic knowledge of cleaning methods.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license may be required; maintain acceptable driving record.
• Bilingual ability is a plus; strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and safe handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties and daily cleaning tasks as scheduled.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and report hazards to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules and company procedures; use PPE as required.
• Drive to various work locations and cooperate with team members.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and complete punch-list items with lead.
