Job summary

Ivy Tech Henry County is seeking a part-time custodian to perform light maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of facilities on campus. The role includes daily cleaning of restrooms, restocking supplies, and maintaining common areas, entryways, and exterior spaces.

Some light maintenance tasks may be required based on skill level, with additional duties assigned as needed. The position offers an hourly wage of $17.00 and requires a high school diploma or equivalent along with punctuality and

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains all cigarette butt urns on College property. (Outside duty).
• Stocks all paper and hand cleaning products dispenser in restrooms.
• Cleans and sanitizes all fixtures, partitions and wall areas, sweep and mop in restrooms daily.
• Sweeps and maintains entryways and outdoor lounge areas.
• Maintains all internal and external trash receptacles outside classrooms.
• Maintains the student commons free of all trash and spills also clean tabletops, chairs and booths.
• Cleans door window glass and frequently touched vertical surfaces daily.
• Maintains community rooms and/or meeting setup.
• Light maintenance as needed, based on skill set.
• All other duties as assigned.
