Job summary

Westmor Industries is seeking a Part Time Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at 3 Development Drive, Morris, MN. The role supports ongoing facilities operations with a daytime schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00am–12:00pm.

The ideal candidate will perform daily cleaning across common areas, restrooms, conference rooms, and the Training Center; assist with light maintenance and snow removal; and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial or facility maintenance experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in creating clean, safe spaces.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks.
• Strong time management skills to complete jobs efficiently and on schedule.
• Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of lobbies, hallways, offices, and break rooms.
• Maintain bathrooms and locker rooms, stocked with supplies.
• Clean conference rooms and Training Center; assist with room setup.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop floors; dust surfaces; wash windows and glass.
• Assist with snow removal around entrances.
• Keep areas clean and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Follow cleaning schedules and proactively identify maintenance needs.
• Other duties to support facilities team.

Position Summary: Part Time Custodian

The Custodian plays a vital role in ensuring that Westmor Industries provides a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. This position is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our facilities, supporting a positive first impression and fostering a productive workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of all common areas, including lobbies, hallways, offices, and break rooms
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms and locker rooms, ensuring they are fully stocked with supplies
• Clean conference rooms and the Training Center, including room setup and air wall adjustments as needed
• Complete routine cleaning tasks, such as:
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Washing windows, doors, and glass partitions
• Emptying waste containers and recycling bins
• Perform light maintenance tasks such as painting and touch-ups
• Assist with snow removal around building entrances and walkways to ensure safety
• Keep work areas clean, orderly, and aligned with health and safety standards
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent upkeep of facilities
• Take initiative to identify and address cleaning or maintenance needs proactively
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the facilities team and company operations
  
  

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $18-23 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.
  
  

Day Shift

• Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 12:00pm
