KETCH Kansas Elks Training Center for the Handicapped is seeking a Custodian for morning hours (Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–11:30 am). The role focuses on cleaning and maintaining multiple properties, including offices and restrooms.

Responsibilities include vacuuming, scrubbing, dusting, trash removal, supply maintenance, and following safety procedures.

Formación

• 6 months custodial/janitorial experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently as a self-starter.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain KETCH properties and facilities, including offices, work areas and restrooms.
• Vacuum, scrub, dust, and dispose of trash; ensure supplies are stocked.
• Follow safety procedures and complete accurate documentation.
• Ensure facilities are secure and assist with snow/ice removal as needed.

Environmental Services Technician:Great hours! This is an opportunity to work independently and take pride in your work. Our Environmental Services Techs are responsible for keeping KETCH properties and facilities clean and attractive by providing general cleaning of offices, work areas and restrooms. Responsible for cleaning, vacuuming, scrubbing, dusting, disposing of trash, maintaining adequate supplies, following safety procedures, completing accurate and timely documentation, ensuring facilities are secure, and assisting with snow and ice removal as needed (in extreme weather). M-F 7:00a-11:301 Hiring immediately. EOE

Requirements for Environmental Services Technician-

• Six months previous custodial / janitor work experience required
• A working knowledge of safe and proper use of custodial equipment, materials, and chemicals
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A self starter that is able to work independently
• Must have a stable work history and references
• Be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ total body weight, whichever is less
• Be able to pass the required company drug screening
