• Manage custodial services operations to meet business and budget goals.
• Handle personnel-related matters including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching and evaluating staff.

• Address customer complaints and ensure safety and cleanliness of all areas.
• Inspect cleaning, equipment, and supplies for safety and compliance.
• Educate team on safety procedures and emergency procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

Responsible for the management of the custodial services operations. Ensures that designated areas are kept in a neat, clean, safe, and orderly condition. Manage all aspects of the department to ensure that business, departmental, and budget goals are met.

• Handle personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, counseling, and discharging staff.
• Establish department guidelines, rules and regulations and training programs.
• Coordinate scheduling and assign employees in alignment with business needs.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns.
• Prepare and distribute assignments.
• Inspect and approve cleaning of all assigned areas; review status of assignments and follow-up as needed.
• Check all cleaning aids and equipment to ensure that they are in proper working order and are in compliance with safety standards.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Educate team members on safety programs; i.e. team member awareness on safety, prevention and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience in housekeeping management and Executive Housekeeper Certification preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Other physical requirements include but are not limited to bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors including but not limited to excessive noise and second-hand smoke.
• Must be able to operate and demonstrate the proper use of all equipment.
• Must have general computer skills.
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
• Must be able to provide team member direction with emergency procedures.
