Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Custodian Supervisor to oversee custodial staff and ensure high standards of cleanliness across public areas in a Las Vegas property.

The role requires the ability to stand/walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain certifications as required by gaming regulations. Prior cleaning experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any required certifications per local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist custodians with daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas (hallways, lobbies, etc.).
• Stock linen supplies and ensure equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate cleaning schedules and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description

Supervise and assist custodians. Ensure the established standards of cleanliness are followed. Clean and maintain public areas; i.e. hallways, lobbies, stairways, locker rooms etc.

• Supervise and assist custodians with daily operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned areas; pick up and remove trash and debris.
• Responsible for property clean up including bio-chemical/bio-hazard material.
• Stock linen supplies.
• Ensure preventative care of equipment and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or 21 (varies by property)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 -2 years of cleaning experience.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, generally the duration of a shift.
• Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
