• Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing routine cleaning duties: sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and wax floors; gather and empty trash; service, clean, and supply restrooms; clean and polish furniture, fixtures, windows, doors and mirrors; dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment; steam clean or shampoo carpets.
• Follow procedures for cleaning chemicals and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after hours, checking electrical usage, and reporting hazards.
• Move heavy furniture and equipment using dolly, cart, or hand truck.
• Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, clear debris from grounds; notify on-site manager for major repairs or additions.
• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks; notify on-site manager if supplies are low; promote active supervision.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.

Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing rugs, walls, glass and removing trash. Performing routine maintenance, notifying management of need of any repairs and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk and the grounds.Duties and responsibilities:Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming and waxing them.Gather and empty all trash cans.Service, clean and supply all restrooms.Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.Clean windows, doors and mirrors.Dust furniture, walls, machines and equipment.Steam clean and /or shampoo carpets.Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in ort to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and gates and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created.Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies either manually, dolly, cart or using hand truck.Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery using mowers and hand and power trimmers, clear debris / trash from grounds.Notify on-site manager concerning the need for major repairs or additions to the building operating systems.Remove snow and ice from sidewalks by spreading snow melting chemicals.Notify on-site manager if cleaning supplies are low.Must promote active supervisionAny other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:Must be a high school graduate / Diploma or GED.
