Job summary

Southern Wisconsin Foods in Union Grove, WI seeks a team lead for custodial/housekeeping duties. You will supervise daily cleaning operations, train custodians on procedures, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

In this position, you will function as a team lead and perform various routine and non-routine custodial/housekeeping tasks requiring moderate physical strength. In addition, you will be responsible for: * conducting on-the-job training for custodians.

* requisitioning and distributing supplies and materials.

* relaying instructions from the Buildings/Grounds Supervisor.

* determining the need for special project work to be performed. performing simple operation of basic mechanical maintenance on cleaning equipment while adhering to all safety procedures.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimally qualified applicants will have: Experience with custodial or housekeeping work including cleaning and sanitizing.

Well qualified applicants may have one or more of the following:

Experience training, leading, overseeing, or directing staff in the use of proper cleaning techniques (e.g. use of cleaning chemicals, use and maintenance of powered cleaning equipment, safety signage, etc.)with custodial and/or housekeeping work Experience providing customer service to internal and external partners (e.g., responding to inquiries, explaining policies and procedures, resolving issues, etc.) by phone or in person. Experience using Microsoft Outlook for email communications.
