Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring full-time Custodians to join our team at Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for custodial duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, and maintaining a neat, clean, and clutter-free environment.

What will you do?

• Clean facilities including bathrooms, carpets, walls, windows, break rooms, and offices; empty trash; restock supplies; dust; and perform other duties as assigned.
• Operate cleaning equipment and pressure wash surfaces as needed.
• Replenish restroom supplies.
• Report defects and suggest improvements.
• Assist guests with inquiries courteously.
• Follow safety and environmental practices.
• Operate a company vehicle when required.

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation required.
• Preferably 6 months custodial experience.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Pass background check and obtain NASA ID badge.

Physical requirements

• Lift 40+ pounds.
• Reach above head.
• Work at heights on ladders or lifts.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work in hot, humid conditions and exposure to dust, noise, fumes, and wetness.

Shift details

Day, evening, overnight, holiday, and weekend shifts available.
