The Salvation Army in Augusta, GA is hiring for a part-time, evening shift housekeeping/maintenance role at the Augusta Kroc facility. The position offers benefits and pays $10.00 per hour, with a shift starting at 4:00 PM on weekdays. Primary duties include cleaning and maintaining buildings and grounds to ensure neatness and safety.

No formal education is required; at least six months of housekeeping experience is preferred. A valid state driver's license is required.

Job Details: Job Location: GA-AUK Augusta Kroc - AUGUSTA, GA 30904, Position Type: Part Time with Benefits 20 or More, Salary Range: $10.00, Job Category: Property, This position is an evening shift, beginning at 4:00 PM each workday.

This position is responsible for:

Cleans and maintains the buildings and grounds to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of the same on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to perform general maintenance and cleaning activities for buildings and grounds
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms; clean sinks and toilets, polish mirrors, and replenish supplies.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and wax floors, floors; sweep sidewalks.
• Cleans windows. Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Ability to meet attendance requirements; Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing housekeeping and minor maintenance work; Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing; Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures, dirt, and dust, and/or disagreeable sights and odors.
