Job summary

SALVATION ARMY A GEORGIA CORP in Kerrville, TX is seeking a dependable team player to perform general maintenance and housekeeping at the KROC facility. The role ensures a safe, neat, and clean environment for daily operations.

Responsibilities include sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom and kitchen cleaning, trash removal, and periodic carpet cleaning and floor care. Prior six months of housekeeping experience is preferred; physical effort is required.

Qualifications

• No formal education is needed, but six months experience performing general housekeeping duties
• or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is preferred.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

We are looking for another team player who will take pride in keeping the KROC looking like new!

No formal education is needed, but six months experience performing general housekeeping duties

or

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects.
• Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing.
• Ability to exert the physical energy required to perform the needed janitorial work.
• Duties are performed standing and require squatting, climbing, bending and walking. Any of the preceding duties may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of sitting.
• Extensive amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) frequently.
