Job summary

VSF Rentals in Ohio is seeking a motivated custodian for full-time employment. You will perform unit turns, exterior and interior cleaning, and respond to service calls in a fast-paced environment. You may travel up to 40 miles between jobs using a company vehicle.

Starting pay is $15.00–$19.00 per hour with bi-weekly pay. A high school diploma is required, and a clean driving record is essential. Occasional Saturdays may be required depending on workload.

VSF Rentals is a growth-focused real estate rental company located in Piqua, OH with a territory from Fairborn to Wapakoneta, OH. We own and operate residential, commercial, and industrial properties in Augailze, Shelby, Miami, and Greene Counties. Our team is looking for a motivated and experienced custodian for full-time employment.

This is a fast-paced team with dynamic and ever-changing needs. You’ll be asked to perform all aspects of common area and final apartment cleaning including:

• Unit Turns: Final cleaning of units prior to new residents moving in.
• Exterior maintenance: Power washing, light grounds keeping, trash pick-up and removal.
• Interior maintenance: Common area cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal.
• Service Calls: Emergency clean ups from leaks or resident issues: such as a dropped glass jar in a common area.

Your typical day could be performing a service call, a unit turn and collecting wind blown trash from a property's fence line. You may be traveling as far as 40 miles in one direction between jobs in a company vehicle.

VSF offers a competitive pay and paid vacation. You will report directly and work closely with the Regional Project/Maintenance Manager and owner of VSF Rentals. Pay is dispersed bi-weekly based on total hours worked, starting wages will be determined by your experience. Your typical start time will be 8 am and you’ll work until 4:30 pm Monday-Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Occasional Saturdays will be mandatory depending on the workload.

VSF will provide you with a company van, step ladders, and all tools/supplies. You should also be able to climb ladders as high as 16 feet, work on top of roofs, and lift and carry at least 80 lbs.

You must pass a background check, occupational health screening and have a clean driving record.

Education and Experience: High school diploma required.
