USC Housing is seeking a Custodian III for USC Village in Los Angeles. The role focuses on keeping facilities clean and well-maintained while delivering exceptional service to students, faculty, staff and guests.

The position requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, high standards of cleaning, knowledge of custodial trades, and a valid California driver’s license with DMV Pull Notice. The job carries an hourly rate of $28.93 and a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

High School Diploma not required.
Minimum 2 years combined education/experience as substitute for minimum experience.
Valid CA driver’s license; DMV Pull Notice System may apply.
Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

Perform standard custodial procedures and maintain cleanliness of assigned facilities.
Provide customer service to faculty, staff, students and guests; meet needs and resolve issues.
Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and painting maintenance and repairs.
Assist supervisor with prioritizing work orders and training of new custodians.
Maintain inventories of custodial supplies and report unsafe conditions.
Comply with USC policies and applicable laws and regulations.
