Department Information
Stamps Health Services is an outpatient ambulatory care center that provides health care and health education to students and their spouses/domestic partners. The center is located in a state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility within the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building, next to our Campus Recreation Center. Stamps Health Services provides care in six areas: Primary care, Women's health, Psychiatry, Travel/Immunization/Allergy, Pharmacy, and Diagnostic Services (lab and radiology).

Job Summary

Perform advanced custodial services and facilitate and/or oversee routine and detailed housekeeping operations to ensure assigned unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner. This position will interact on a regular basis with: staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: staff. This position will supervise: NA.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Assign and inspect custodial/housekeeping work and related projects/activities to maintain unit/facility cleanliness levels and appearance

Job Duty 2 -
Perform specialized cleaning operations necessary to ensure unit/facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner

Job Duty 3 -
Maintain supply inventory necessary to successfully perform routine and detailed custodial services

Job Duty 4 -
Respond to system-transmitted service requests

Job Duty 5 -
Transport custodial employees to and from work assignments, as necessary

Job Duty 6 -
Operate and/or maintain assigned power equipment related to custodial services, as required

Job Duty 7 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
Three to five years job related experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

SKILLS
Ability to follow prescribed instructions, effectively communicate, operate basic computer applications and, work independently and as a member of a team.
