Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation is seeking a Custodian II for the day shift to maintain and protect Yakama Nation facilities. You will clean restrooms, doorways, windows, and common areas with attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

The role requires 1–3 years of custodial experience, physical endurance, and the ability to perform light maintenance tasks. A pre-employment drug test is required and the position pays $15.74 per hour as a full-time employee.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with the ability to perform the work.
• 1–3 years custodial experience preferred to demonstrate skills.
• Physically capable of strenuous work in all weather and indoor/outdoor areas.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of Yakama Nation facilities, including restrooms, doorways, and windows.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, and plumbing as needed.
• Operate cleaning tools and equipment, restock supplies, and prepare spaces for the next shift.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize floors, walls, and fixtures daily.
• Secure facilities after hours by locking doors and setting up alarms.
