Wichita Public Schools is seeking a Custodian to support daily cleaning tasks across school facilities, ensuring a clean and safe environment for students and staff. The role may involve supervision of part-time custodians and coordination with the Building Custodial Supervisor.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, restrooms, energy management guidelines, and responding to requests for setup and maintenance. Limited travel between schools may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Proficiency of Custodial Operations certificate preferred.
• Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily duties in assigned areas such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and waste removal.
• Clean restrooms and service areas and replenish supplies.
• Sweep hallways, stairs, gym, locker room and auditorium; assist with lunch room cleaning.
• Perform weekly duties like high dusting, carpet spotting, and floor maintenance.
