The YMCA of the North seeks a dedicated Custodian II responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation at the Hastings location. This role includes various cleaning tasks, interaction with members, and adherence to safety protocols, while promoting YMCA values of honesty, caring, and respect.
Hastings YMCA is looking for a Custodian available for Monday & Tuesday evening shifts and Saturday & Sunday from 12pm to 5pm.
We consider an individual’s background and experience when determining salary; therefore, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a range of benefits and earned time off, which vary based on part-time or full-time status.
The salary for this position starts at $16.00 hourly.
1. Job Summary:
The Custodian II is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. This role involves duties such as mopping, dusting, trash removal, window washing, meeting setup, pool cleaning, snow removal, lawn care, and other cleaning tasks. The incumbent interacts positively with members and staff, responding to requests or informing maintenance staff. Member service is the main objective, demonstrating YMCA core values: honesty, responsibility, caring, equity, and respect.
