Job summary

The Town Of Wethersfield is seeking a reliable Custodian I to join the school district's custodial team. Under the Head Custodian, you will perform cleaning, maintenance, and setup for Wethersfield High School, with a Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:00pm schedule.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of custodial experience. Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, tools, and basic repairs is essential to keep facilities safe and well maintained.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, hallways, lobbies, meeting areas, restrooms, offices, and other assigned spaces.

• Complete minor maintenance and repair tasks, including basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events and activities.
• Must perform all duties in accordance with Town policies, procedures, and accepted operational guidelines.

The Town of Wethersfield is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented professional to join our custodial team. Under the direct supervision of the Head Custodian, this role involves maintenance and general cleaning duties and maintenance at Wethersfield High School with a work schedule of Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm.

Examples of Specific Duties:

• Cleaning classrooms, hallways, lobbies, meeting areas, restrooms, offices, and other assigned spaces.
