Job summary

WSU Tri-Cities is seeking a Custodian 1 to help maintain welcoming, clean, safe, and well-prepared facilities for students, employees, campus partners, and visitors.

In this role, you will perform routine custodial and housekeeping duties within assigned campus areas, using established schedules and procedures to care for classrooms, offices, common areas, laboratories, restrooms, floors, furnishings, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work occasional night and weekend shifts.
• Ability to obtain Department of Energy clearance for building access.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties in classrooms, offices, common areas, laboratories, restrooms, floors, furnishings, and equipment.
• Set up and takedown furnishings and equipment for campus events.
• Respond to assigned custodial requests and maintain custodial tools and supply areas.
• Participate in campus emergency response activities as needed.
