This is a Permanent Intermittent position. Intermittent positions may work a maximum of 1500 hours per calendar year. The number of hours and schedule of work shall be determined based on the operational needs.

This position is a Permanent Intermittent position (Part-time). The employee and family will become eligible for health, dental, and vision benefits after working 480 hours in a “control period” and will maintain eligibility by working 480 hours each control period after. The Health Facility Maintenance program provides individuals training of necessary knowledge and skills needed to meet the highest possible standards of cleaning for health care settings and brings health care areas of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) to an acceptable level of sanitary conditions.
