General Purpose

The Custodian I plays a vital role in keeping Commerce City’s buildings clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors. This position ensures facilities are well-maintained, functional, and presentable, contributing to a positive environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Salary and Benefits

The hiring salary is dependent upon experience, with a range of $42,000.00 - $46,000.00 annually. We offer a generous benefits package including health and wellness benefits, a 6% retirement contribution match, a 3% 457 Deferred Compensation match, PTO, work/life balance, and more.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one-year custodial experience and/or light maintenance and customer service.
• Any combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be CJIS certified or able to obtain certification within 30 days of employment.
