Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to ensure cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role includes operating motorized cleaning equipment, following daily schedules, and handling hazardous waste tasks with strict safety adherence.

The position requires modular training (3–6 months preferred) and may require a valid driver’s license or forklift certification depending on needs. Excellent teamwork and professional communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for this position based on business needs.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Perform Hazardous Waste responsibilities including collecting, classifying, sorting, storing, shipping and receiving, labeling, cleaning, recycling, packaging of special and hazardous waste.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fill in during staff shortage.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
