Job summary

The State of Wyoming is hiring for a part-time custodian and grounds keeper at the Torrington Armory. You will perform interior cleaning and exterior grounds maintenance to keep the facility safe, clean, and well-maintained.

The role requires operating cleaning and grounds equipment, maintaining MSDS records, and complying with OSHA/EPA regulations. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm, 120 hours per month; essential personnel with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 0-6 months of progressive work experience in Building and Grounds.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must obtain/maintain Federal Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning including floors, restrooms, classrooms, and offices.
• Perform grounds maintenance including mowing, pruning, and snow removal.
• Operate custodial and grounds maintenance equipment.
• Inspect emergency lighting and fire extinguishers for proper operation.
• Maintain MSDS records for cleaning supplies and chemicals used and stored on site.
• Submit work orders for facility deficiencies.
