Job summary

Hutchinson Community College is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain clean and safe facilities across campus. Daily duties include dusting, cleaning windows, floors, walls, restrooms, and other spaces using custodial tools and equipment.

The role requires ability to access light fixtures and HVAC vents, replace bulbs, and support the Facilities department. Flexibility for days, evenings, and weekend shifts is expected, with punctual attendance and adherence to HutchCC policies.

Qualifications

• Daily cleaning of buildings including dusting, cleaning windows, floors, walls, and furniture, restroom fixtures, toilets, sinks, etc.
• Includes the use of custodial tools and equipment.
• Maintain the interior spaces from the ceiling to the floor, including cleaning light fixtures and replacing light bulbs, cleaning HVAC supply and return vents, and changing HVAC filters depending on their location.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, and/or weekend hours as necessary.
• Arrive on time for work, attend work regularly, and successfully perform the responsibilities of the position.
• Comply with HutchCC policies, procedures, and practices.
