Itasca Area Schools Collaborative in Grand Rapids is seeking a Custodian to clean school buildings and grounds, perform minor repairs, and support after‑hours activities.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and offers health coverage, paid time off, life and disability insurance, and retirement benefits on a 12‑month, afternoon shift (Tue–Sat, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year vocational certificate in Custodial/housekeeping preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping is beneficial.
• Experience in school-related custodial is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clean school buildings and grounds; perform minor repairs.
• Support day and evening activities on campus.
• Provide a safe, attractive, clean, and efficient environment for students, staff, and the public.

BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform environmental service tasks, cleaning school buildings and grounds and minor repairs such as table, desk, and chair repair. Support services for day and evening activities in the school. Assist in providing a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place for students, staff, and the public.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Service Employees Association
• Classification A1B Custodian, Afternoon Shift
• Salary Range: $18.54- $21.38per hour
• 12 months per year
• Hours: Tuesday-Saturday (3:00PM - 11:00PM)
