Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort in Iowa seeks an Environmental Services (EVS) teammate to maintain a clean, safe casino environment for guests and staff, including the gaming floor and back-of-house areas.

You will perform daily cleaning, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and assist with special projects in hotel, kitchen, or other areas as directed. The role requires teamwork and reliability, with overnights or day shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Cleans restrooms multiple times daily, including floors and fixtures.
• Clean all gaming devices, tables, and chairs on the casino floor.
• Remove trash from the gaming area and clean ash trays.
• Clean back-of-house offices and restrooms as needed.
• Complete daily projects in hotel, kitchen or as directed.
• Provide restorative services during emergencies, including alternate hours.
• Clean dining venues when not in operation, including floors and chairs.
• Work cohesively with a team to accomplish duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The EVS member is responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment for all guests and staff. This position cleans the casino floor and all associated support areas in the back of the house. EVS is responsible for project cleaning and all customer identified needs within expertise. The ultimate responsibility is to ensure that the customer is impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and adds to the exceptional experience for each patron.

Essential Functions

• Cleans restrooms multiple times each day, to include floor and fixtures.
• Clean all gaming devices, tables, and chairs associated with the casino floor.
• Remove trash from the gaming area and clean ash trays.
• Clean all associated support areas to include back of the house offices and restrooms as needed.
• Complete daily projects in areas of hotel, kitchen or as directed.
• Provide restorative services when emergencies arise, to include working alternate hours.
• Clean dining venues when not in operation, including floors, table bases, chairs and finishes.
• Work cohesively with a team to accomplish assigned duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule

Full-Time: Overnights or Days including weekends/holidays

$16.00/hour (including premium pay) with 40 hours of Paid Time Off upon hire
