Job summary

Century Casinos Inc is seeking an EVS Attendant responsible for delivering superior guest service and maintaining high cleanliness standards in accordance with company procedures.

The role involves cleaning duties across casino areas, restroom sanitation, trash removal, spill cleanup, and ensuring safe handling of biohazards. You will work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year experience in cleaning public building and/or facilities.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License.
• Must complete all required company training.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and team members to positively influence the guest and team member experience.
• Keep the area clean from trash.
• Dust, vacuum, wipe down machines, empty trashcans and ashtrays on Casino Floor.
• Keep casino restrooms areas clean, sanitary and restocked with supplies.
• Mop all hard surface floors around bars, inside restrooms and at entrances.
• Remove all trash and debris from floors and trash cans and deposit in the compactor and designated dumpsters.
• Spot clean and ensure spillages are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
• Clean all floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators.
• Containment, clean-up and disposal of all biohazards throughout the property.
• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the EVS Shift Manager.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental and Company policies in an ethical manner.
• Handle routine customer complaints and incidents and seek to resolve them to maintain positive guest relationships.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. The EVS Attendant is also responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with the procedures and policies set forth by the company.

ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• 3. Dusting, vacuuming, wiping down machines, empting trashcans and ashtrays on Casino Floor.
• 4. Responsible for keeping casino restrooms areas clean, sanitary and restocked with supplies.
• 5. Responsible for mopping all hard surfaces floors around bars, inside restrooms and at entrances.
• 6. Responsible for removing all trash and debris from floors and trash cans deposit in the compactor and cardboard in designated dumpsters.
• 7. Responsible for spot cleaning and ensure that spillages are dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
• 8. Responsible for cleaning all floors, windows, walls, stairs, and elevators.
• 9. Responsible for containment, clean-up and disposal of all biohazards throughout the property.
• 10. Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by the EVS Shift Manager
• 11. Adhere to regulatory, departmental and Company policies in an ethical manner and require others to do the same.
• 12. Handle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to define situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel. Seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
• 13. Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs.
• 14. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience/Education:

• High school Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Zero to one year experience in cleaning public building and or facilities.

Knowledge:

• Operating of a vacuum cleaner, carpet extractor, floor scrubber, wet/dry vacuum, walk behind floor scrubber.

Other:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Level 2 Missouri Gaming License.
• Must be able to receive and maintain all required certification relating to the position.
• Must complete all required company training.
