Unified School District No. 232 is seeking a Custodian for the evening shift at Horizon Elementary School. The role runs from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm and offers starting pay of $16.64 per hour, commensurate with experience.

The position supports a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for staff and students. Starting ASAP, with the possibility of summer hours adjustment to a day shift. Benefits package available for USD 232 employees.

Qualifications

• TB test required prior to employment.
• Must pass standardized strength & agility testing up to 50 pounds.
• Pre-employment physical required before first day of work.

Shift Hours: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Position Purpose: Custodian – Evening Shift supports the staff and students of USD 232 by providing a safe, clean, operational, and productive learning environment with a customer service mindset.

Starting Salary: $16.64/hour (commensurate with experience)

During the summer the hours may be modified to a day shift.

Requirements

• -Allemployees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis).If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) wecan accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
• -Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds.
• -Must submit a pre employment physical prior to first day of work.
