Job summary

Unified School District No. 232 seeks a Custodian for the Horizon Elementary School evening shift. The role is 1.0 full-time equivalent with hours from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm; during summer hours may shift to daytime.

Starting salary is $16.64 per hour and the district offers an excellent benefits package. Candidates must pass TB testing, meet strength/fitness requirements, and complete a pre-employment physical before first day.

Position Purpose:Custodian Evening Shift supports the staff and students of USD 232 by providing a safe, clean, operational, and productive learning environment with a customer service mindset.
Starting Salary:$16.64/hour (commensurate with experience)

Requirements:
-Allemployees must have a current TB test (Tuberculosis).If you've had a recent TB Test (less than 12 months ago) wecan accept a copy of your test results. If it's been more than 1 year ago, you will be required to obtain a new test. Employees are responsible for the cost of the test.
-Must pass standardized strength & agility testing requiring lifting up to 50 pounds.
-Must submit a pre employment physical prior to first day of work.
