Job summary

Health Solutions is seeking a Custodian/Shuttle Driver to support our Operations team across multiple Pueblo locations. You will keep facilities clean and sanitary while also transporting clients when required, ensuring excellent service to staff and clients.

The role requires high school level education, at least three years in custodial services, and a Colorado driver’s license with a clean record. Expect competitive pay and comprehensive benefits; some travel between sites is involved.

Responsibilities

• Clean floors using vacuums, buffers, scrubbers, and mops.
• Clean surfaces including counters, desks, shelves, and windows.
• Remove trash and replace liners; maintain restrooms and floors.
• Clean windows and doors inside and outside; manage snow/ice as needed.
• Move conference/office furniture; ensure facilities are sanitary and OSHA compliant.
• Provide safe transportation of clients as needed and report safety issues.

With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.We’re looking for a Custodian/Shuttle Driver to join our Operations team of professionals providing coverage as needed at various other locations in Pueblo.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Custodian/Shuttle Driver you would play a central role in providing the very best service and support to our clients and staff by keeping our facilities attractive, clean and sanitary as well as transporting clients.RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Custodian/Shuttle Driver under the supervision of the Director and Supervisor you will:Cleans floors, which requires operation of vacuums, buffers, scrubbers, mops, and other equipmentCleans dust, lint, and smudges from surfaces including counters, desks, shelves, cabinets, tables, chairs, walls, windows, doors, and doorknobsRemoves trash from all receptacles, disposing in proper manner and replacing trash linersCleans all restrooms including stools, sinks, containers, walls, stalls, floors, doors, and doorknobsCleans windows and glass doors inside and outsideCleans snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks as neededSets up or moves conference and office furniture as neededMaintains all facilities in safe and sanitary condition while following OSHA safety regulations, immediately notifying maintenance lead of needed repairs, supplies, and safety issuesCommunicates with staff, clients, and others in a respectful and courteous manner, both in oral and written form, working with a team to assure smooth transitions throughout the CenterTakes proper precautions when performing tasks that cause exposure to potentially harmful conditions, such as handling chemicals or bodily fluids, lifting, stooping, bending, and working in confined spaces, heights, or with high noise levelsParticipates in all required trainingsMaintains a calm demeanor in stressful or emergency situationsTransports clients and students as need in company transport van/bus up to 50% of weekly hoursReports to work and provides own transportation to multiple work sites in a timely manner (bus transportation is not acceptable)Other duties as assigned by the supervisorPhysical Requirements:· Frequently lifts, carries, pushes and/or pulls items up to 20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds;· Occasionally experiences exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids;· Requires minimal use of a computer;· Requires occasional driving in adverse weather conditionWhat You’ll Like About UsCompetitive pay $18.45 Hourly (Dependent on experience, certification and shift)Generous benefits package.
