Job summary

McCain is seeking a Custodian to support our sanitation team in Grand Island, NE. The role requires keeping a clean, safe, and sanitary environment by performing general cleaning and custodial duties on the B crew from 6pm to 6am.

You will sweep, mop, vacuum, sanitize floors and surfaces, manage trash, and assist with deep cleaning or painting as needed. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be able to work in a manufacturing setting following safety procedures and PPE

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and follow basic instructions and safety procedures.
• Manufacturing environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors and other facility areas.
• Clean and sanitize hard surfaces, including floors and restroom areas.
• Empty trash containers, replace liners, and replenish supplies.
