Job summary

Employment Horizons is seeking a reliable Custodian to join the team at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ. The role covers cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, tables, chairs, and equipment to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

The position offers full‑time hours with two shift options (7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 9:30 AM–5:30 PM). Prior janitorial experience is a plus, and strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized with ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Good physical stamina; tolerates repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Prior janitorial experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain floors, windows, tables, chairs, restrooms, and equipment.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste following safety protocols.
• Ensure areas are sanitized and stocked with supplies.
• Follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Maintain an organized work area.
