Job summary

Collectors Universe Inc. is seeking a Custodian for the AM shift to maintain a clean, organized, and secure office in Jersey City, NJ. The role reports to the Senior Workplace Manager and requires onsite presence five days per week with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The job emphasizes dusting, mopping, restroom cleaning, restocking supplies, and event setup. Custodial experience is preferred, with a strong focus on safety and accuracy in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and read SDS.
• Able to adapt to schedule changes and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial duties (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restrooms).
• Restock paper supplies and maintain cleaning inventory.
• Assist with setup/breakdown of meetings and events.
• Respond to service tickets from other departments.
• Onsite work 5 days a week, 6:00–2:30 shift (AM).
