Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas. Responsibilities include performing janitorial duties, following a daily schedule, and operating motorized cleaning equipment.

The role requires the ability to read instructions, strong communication skills, and adherence to safety rules. Training is provided; forklift certification may be required. Bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement; 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
• May be required to have a valid driver’s license; safety and task training certification completed; forklift certification may be required.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment; able to share with team.
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals and safe handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Work in a team with other employees.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
