Job summary

Agri-Cover, Inc. in Jamestown, ND is seeking a full-time Custodian to keep our facility clean and orderly. The role covers sweeping, mopping, restroom upkeep, window washing, and assisting with setup for events, with daily and periodic cleaning tasks.

Required: high school diploma or GED or equivalent; able to lift up to 100 pounds; good reading and writing; strong attention to detail and teamwork. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and flexible spending.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Able to lift and move up to 100 pounds; able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
• Cleans cafeterias and bathrooms on a daily basis.
• Empties trash and garbage containers and consolidates for weekly pickup.
• Maintains recycling program.
• Washes windows.
• Paints as necessary.
• Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.
• Assists in the set-up and take-down of equipment/supplies for company events.
• Cleans work bicycles.
• Implants improvements.
• Other duties may be assigned.
