Job Title: Custodian
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Effective Date: December 2022
Direct Reports: None
FLSA: Non-exempt
Description And Essential Functions
Responsible for the daily cleaning of GMT facilities and all vehicles:
Cleans inside and outside of buses and other GMT vehicles, as needed
Cleans and maintains facilities and equipment as directed including
outdoor facilities and grounds
Cleans and maintains bus shelters
Washes, refuels and performs light maintenance on GMT vehicles
Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
A combination of education and/or experience that provides the required
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities To
perform the essential functions of the position. Additional experience,
as outlined below, may be substituted
for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
The minimum age for all employees
in this position is 21. A CDL and clean driving record are preferred.

individual must be able to perform

Knowledge of basic methods, materials and tools used in bus cleaning.
Must be able to work
independently, ability to follow oral and written instructions, ability
to perform basic non-mechanical
repairs on maintenance equipment (lawn mower, snow blower, floor
cleaner).

Physical Requirements: The ability to stand for long periods of time,
