Harvard University is seeking a Facilities Cleaning role on-site at a Harvard campus location. The position emphasizes routine and specialized cleaning across offices, dormitories, laboratories, libraries and classrooms with attention to sanitary standards.
Responsibilities include maintaining clean spaces, sanitizing bathrooms, restocking supplies, operating floor machines and vacuums, and potentially assisting with events. Excellent English communication and reliability are essential.

Facilities Maintenance Operations (FMO) offers building & landscape maintenance, and custodial services to Harvard faculties and departments on a fee-for-service basis. All services are provided in strict accordance with customer-determined standards. As such, FMO operates as an in-house alternative to contractor services and therefore must manage itself under the same principles that guide any successful maintenance service business.
As described in the customer service level agreement, responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Emergency Status Designation:
Critical Operations Personnel (required to provide on-site support during emergency situations as determined by management).
Standard Hours/Schedule: 40 hours per week
Compensation Range/Rate (including Shift Differential if applicable): $28.75-$29.43
