Job summary

Cromwell Public Schools is seeking a School Custodian I to maintain the daily cleaning of Edna C. Stevens and to support periodic operations during the absence of the Building Maintainer. The role covers cleaning, safety, and basic facility systems, with supervision of visiting public as needed.

Position details include shift from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM during the school year and a day shift in summer. Compensation is $24.15 per hour with full benefits and a 40-hour work week.

Job description

Cromwell Public Schools is looking for a School Custodian I for Edna C. Stevensto maintain the daily cleaning of a facility as assigned. To provide, if assigned, for the periodic operation of a facility during the absence of the Building Maintainer, involving but not limited to the building’s cleanliness, structural safety, systems equipment, product delivery and direction of visiting public.

Compensation: $24.15 per hour. Position works 40 hours per week (hours during the school year are 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, during summer months hours change to day shift).
