Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean working environment for all staff and visitors by performing custodial and grounds maintenance duties in and around County-owned buildings.
• Custodial duties include: gathering and emptying waste baskets, changing liners, removing trash, dusting, polishing, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and carpets, cleaning and supplying restrooms, washing windows.
• Other duties include locking/unlocking buildings, securing facilities, snow removal, spreading salt and chemicals, outside trash removal, moving furniture, attending to cleaning emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Previous custodial or housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License.
