Locust Grove Middle School is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This full-time position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as with a team.

You will perform routine cleaning, stock supplies, assist with events, and follow district safety policies. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with prior custodial experience a plus.

Qualificações

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
• Must pass background checks and comply with all school district policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure facilities stocked with soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Deep cleaning and special projects as assigned, such as carpet cleaning and window washing.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of furniture and equipment for events.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas: sidewalks, playgrounds, parking lots.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with staff to support the school's mission.
